Challenging conversations

Starting the conversation can be a challenging moment in time, sometimes family and friends will be resistant. We often hear from our clients that their family doesn't want to talk about the inevitable because they fear talking about death will hasten it. These conversations allow for the dying person to prepare and create a space for important conversations to happen. This can provide a sense of completion and peace for all involved. Having a doula or neutral party present can be helpful in normalizing these often emotional exchanges
